Health and safety is the laws, rules, and principles that are intended to keep people safe from injury or disease at work and in public places.
Regardless of the environment in which we work or the tasks we carry out on a daily basis we are governed by health and safety legislation and law. Health and safety in the workplace is an issue for everyone and we all have responsibilities whether you are an employer, an employee or you are self-employed. Every year, thousands of people suffer accidents and ill-health at work – most of which could be avoided.
Our Health and Safety Course is designed to address all responsibilities and roles in the workplace to ensure that accidents and ill health at work is avoided. Whilst helping to fulfil legal requirements for providing workplace training; it also promotes staff awareness that can lead to greater efficiency and a reduction in lost working time from accidents at work.
This is an essential training session for all employers and employees of any industry or workplace to ensure the health, safety and security of staff and others who may be affected by work practices and to ensure you remain within health and safety law. This session is packed with information, scenarios, case studies and practical activities to embed theory knowledge, develop understanding and to identify and maintain skills whilst developing a broader understanding of individual roles in relation to health and safety.
The full day course costs £60 +VAT
